Squeaky Wheel
Described as a “Getting Over It-style” shopping game, Squeaky Wheel is an arcade-style shopping simulator inspired by the punk and speedrunning scenes respectively. Players can fly over shelves, lob bombs, and flip off security guards, or simply mosey around staring at NPC shoppers. This game is still in active development, and we are excited for the future of this project!
North Coast Environment Simulator
Modeled after the beaches of the Pacific Northwest, this title allows players to explore a relaxing, contemplative coastal environment to the tune of the ocean waves.
Naked at the Club
Created in one night while listening to the same club song for about five or six hours, this short, narrative experience puts you in the position of a DJ who happens to witness the joyful reunion of two naked companions on their very own dance floor. How fortunate. (Audio muted for copyright)

In Garry's Mod, the map is crucial in its role in enabling the imaginative play such a game inspires. To this end, I spent some time creating a school level that is largely empty, yet provides affordances (basketball hoops, whiteboards, desks, etc.) to inspire and channel creativity.

As a submission for the 2017 72-Hour Team Fortress 2 Map Jam, I created a small control points map that focused on the power of verticality, with the blue team trying to knock off the red defenders in a D-Day style combat scenario. After this, players must make their way to the red team’s spawn and go below the final control point to uproot the defenders likely staked out above. Upon playtesting, rounds were far too quick, due in large part to the fact that the map was simply quite small, and there was no time for the red team to get reentrenched.
